“Back by popular demand,” Michael Gantt returns to expand upon his January REAC seminar with an advanced topics seminar in two parts.  Part 1 will be Secrets of the REAC Scoring Report in which Mike will demonstrate how to decode your REAC inspection report into useful data that will help you improve your REAC scores by setting proper priorities and recognizing potential appeals issues.  Part 2 will focus on the Secrets of Effective REAC Appeals, revealing why some appeals are rejected and others are approved.  Mike will walk us through the steps to preparing and submitting appeals that restore higher REAC scores, including “Pre-Appeals” to proactively prevents scoring losses on known issues and “Carryovers” to permanently address ongoing situations.

participants will receive the $45 retail book as part of the seminar.

IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter NO. 4’s - Annual Landscape Contest Deadline Submission October 5, 2013

 

 

So don’t miss out on this opportunity to display the hard work you and your staff have put into your properties. We encourage all members of the Boston chapter to submit three (3) to six (6) pictures of your property for review by the honorary judges.

Please include a brief information sheet listing the properties. Name, address, phone number, *email contact, name of the property management company and which category you wish to be entered in.

All pictures (NO CD’s Please) should be submitted to the IREM Office, in care of Colleen Costa, ARM committee chair or Kelley Hannon, IAE  No Later Than 10/5/2013.

We will be announcing the winners at the November 7, 2013 membership meeting being held at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA. There will be a winner in each category and two honorable mentions, all winners will receive an award certificate.

Senator Scott P. Brown, of MA has a long history of public service beginning as an Assessor and Selectman in the Town of Wrentham. He then served in the Massachusetts Legislature as a State Representative for 3 terms and the State Senate for 5 years.  After the passing of the late Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Brown won a special election to complete the 3 years left on that term.  During his time in the U.S. Senate, Senator Brown was a ranking member on the Armed Services Committee, as well as the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and was a member of the Veteran’s Committee and the Committee on Small Business.
